Copyright Complaint Policy

1. Intellectual Property Ownership

All core platform source code, database structures, UI components, animations, styles, and trademarks displayed on Digivite.in belong exclusively to Digivite or its licensors. Users retain intellectual property ownership of their own event photography, custom text, and personal audio tracks uploaded to their invitations.

2. Intermediary Status & User Responsibility

Digivite complies with the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and operates as an Intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. Because Digivite does not pre-screen all multimedia uploaded by hosts, hosts are required to ensure they possess the necessary copyright permissions before uploading music or professional photographs to their invitation sites.

3. Notice & Takedown Procedure

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized representative and believe that content hosted on a Digivite invitation infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a formal complaint to our Grievance Officer. Your notice must include:

• Electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• The exact URL of the infringing invitation on Digivite (e.g., https://digivite.in/i/{slug}).
• Your contact details, including phone number, email address, and physical address in India or abroad.
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, agent, or the law.

4. Action & Statutory Resolution

Upon receiving a complete and valid infringement notice, we will disable access to the infringing material within 36 hours in accordance with the Information Technology Rules, 2021, and notify the user who posted the content.
