Acceptable Use & Content Policy

1. Purpose & Community Standards

Digivite.in is built to celebrate memorable moments across India—including weddings, Sangeet, Mehendi, Haldi, birthdays, baby showers, Griha Pravesh, and corporate events. All user-generated content (UGC), uploaded photos, audio tracks, and guestbook messages must respect these positive community standards.

2. Prohibited Content

In compliance with Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, users agree not to host, upload, modify, or transmit any content that:

• Belongs to another person and to which the user does not have any legal right.
• Is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, pedophilic, invasive of another's privacy, or ethnically objectionable.
• Harms minors in any way or threatens the unity, integrity, defense, security, or sovereignty of India.
• Infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or other proprietary rights.
• Contains software viruses or any other computer code designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer resource.
• Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleads the recipient about the origin of the message (phishing/scams).

3. File Upload Limitations

To ensure platform stability and protect systems from cyber threats, hosts must adhere to the following limitations:

• Audio files (MP3): Maximum file size is 8MB and must pass strict server-side MIME type verification.
• Photos & Banners (JPG/PNG/WEBP): Maximum file size is 5MB per image.
• Executable files: All scripts, binaries, and double extensions (e.g., .php.jpg) are automatically rejected and logged by our security monitors.
