Account Deletion & Data Erasure

1. Your Right to Erasure

In compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) of India, you possess the absolute right to request the permanent deletion of your Digivite user profile, draft/published invitations, attendance databases, and uploaded multimedia.

2. What Is Purged During Deletion

• Account Identity: Full name, email address, password hash, and active sessions.
• Invitation Websites: All hosted cards and unique invitation URLs (/i/{slug}) are permanently unpublished and removed.
• Guestbook & Attendance Logs: Complete attendee responses, headcounts, wishes, and timestamps are purged from the database.
• Uploaded Media: Custom audio tracks (MP3) and gallery images are hard-deleted from storage.

Note: Historical financial transaction logs are retained strictly for 7 years to comply with statutory taxation and accounting audits in India.
